How RCMS Electric Booked $60K of Work in Its First Two Months

This electrician website case study walks through the site we built for RCMS Electric, a commercial and industrial electrical contractor, from a Dallas-Fort Worth team that builds for construction and the trades. It went from first preview to live in one week, and RCMS booked $60K of work in its first two months.

The client

A commercial electrician who needed the site to say so

RCMS Electric is an owner-operated electrical contractor run by Rob Guangorena. The shop does commercial and industrial work across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex: service upgrades, power distribution, lighting retrofits, facility power and after-hours shutdowns. It does not do residential work.

That matters for a website. A commercial buyer, a general contractor or a facility manager, is checking three things before they call: does this electrician do my kind of work, have they done it for companies like mine, and will they answer. Plenty of contractor sites make the buyer dig for all three. We built RCMS a site that answers them on the first screen.

The problem

Commercial buyers check three things before they call

A general contractor or facility manager looking for an electrician wants to know three things fast: does this shop do my kind of work, has it done it for companies like mine, and will it answer.

Most contractor sites make the buyer dig for all three. RCMS needed a site that answered them on the first screen and turned the visit into a call or a priced enquiry.

Services

Six services, named the way a buyer searches

Each service has its own card and its own section on the Services page, written in the words a facility manager types into Google: tenant improvements, power distribution, service upgrades, shutdowns. Every card links to what the work covers.

Proof

Real jobs, not stock photos

After the first preview, Rob sent photos from his own jobs. They became the Projects page: switchgear, distribution and warehouse lighting, each with the scope and the city. A commercial buyer sees the gear before they see a sales line.

Leads

An enquiry form that sorts the lead for you

The form sits on the homepage and asks what Rob would ask on the phone: project type and job site. Rob gets the lead by email the moment it is sent, and the customer gets a confirmation promising a reply within one business day, with the number to call if it is urgent.

What we built

Seven pieces, each doing one job

  1. 01

    Commercial work, stated up front

The first screen says commercial electrical contractor, DFW Metroplex, and lists the services in plain words. The site says outright that RCMS does not take residential jobs, so the calls that come in are the right ones.

  2. 02

    Real project photos

After the first preview, Rob sent photos from his own jobs, and they became the Projects page.

  3. 03

A wall of the companies RCMS works for

The homepage carries a "Proud Electrician For" row of client logos. Rob asked to add names to it the night he saw the first preview, and it is the fastest proof a commercial buyer can read.

  4. 04

The enquiry form on the homepage

The contact form sits on the homepage, not three clicks deep, and asks the project type and the job site up front, so every lead arrives already sorted.

  5. 05

    Two emails on every enquiry

Rob gets the lead with every detail the moment it is sent. The customer gets a confirmation from RCMS that promises a follow-up within one business day and gives the number to call if it is urgent.

  6. 06

A call button on every page

Commercial buyers still pick up the phone. The number sits in the header on desktop and in a tap-to-call button on a phone.

  7. 07

    Hosted and maintained by us

The site runs on Cloudflare on RCMS’s own domain, and we handle changes as the business adds work and photos.

Timeline

One week from preview to live

  1. Aug 27, 2026

    First preview

We sent Rob a working preview of the full site. He replied that night with names for the client wall and a plan to shoot project photos.

  2. Aug 28 to Sep 2

    Rounds of edits

Client logos and real project photos went in, the form got its two emails, and the domain moved onto Cloudflare.

  3. Sep 3, 2026

    Live

The site went live on rcmselectric.com with the enquiry form and both lead emails tested end to end.

  4. First two months

    $60K of work

RCMS booked $60K of work in its first two months live.

“Colin with Conduit System Services is great at what he does. He did a website for us and couldn’t be happier with his attention to detail and his communication thru out this process. Made it super easy and fast delivery.”

For your shop

What any electrician can take from this

  • Say who you work for in the first line

Commercial or residential, the trade, the area. A buyer who has to scroll to find out leaves before they do.

  • Show your own work

Phone photos of your real jobs beat any stock image. Names of the companies you work for beat any adjective.

  • Put the form where people already are

On the homepage, short, with the questions you would ask on the phone anyway: what kind of job, and where.

  • Answer every lead the same day

An automatic confirmation buys you time, and the alert in your inbox makes sure the lead does not sit. The site gets the call; the speed of the reply wins the job.

What a site like this costs

Builds start at $5,000, then a monthly plan at $299, $499 or $699 covers hosting, maintenance and changes. Scope and price are set on a 30-minute call. More on how a trade site is priced in what a contractor website really costs.

What did the RCMS Electric website include?
A homepage that states commercial and industrial work in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, a services list, a Projects page of real job photos, a wall of client logos, a call button on every page, and an enquiry form on the homepage that emails the lead to the owner and sends the customer a confirmation.
How long did the RCMS Electric website take to build?
One week from the first preview to live. We sent the preview on August 27, 2026, made Rob’s edits, and the site went live on September 3, 2026 with the form and lead emails working.
How much does a website for an electrical contractor cost?
Our builds start at $5,000, plus a monthly plan at $299, $499 or $699 for hosting, maintenance and changes. The price depends on what the site has to do, and we set it on the first 30-minute call.
Do you build websites for residential electricians too?
Yes. We build for trades and contractors, residential and commercial. The pieces change with the buyer: a residential site leans on reviews, service areas and booking, a commercial one on project photos, client names and a fast reply.
Do you only work with contractors in Dallas-Fort Worth?
We are based in Carrollton, Texas, and most of our trade clients are in Dallas-Fort Worth, but we work with contractors anywhere in the US, and the work is delivered remotely.
How can I see where my current site falls short?
Run our free website audit. It scans your site and scores search appearance, speed on a phone, mobile experience, SEO, accessibility and conversion readiness, with the top three fixes on screen.
